So you have decided to start your own business. You’ve created your product, outlined your services, or even built your own brick-and-mortar location. You’ve focused on everything that you do best, but now its time to launch your business online and start to market it. Below are a list of crucial tools that every entrepreneur should know about if not use regularly. 1. Showit

Website Builder

This is the platform I use to build & host all of my websites due to it’s high level of customization. Designing without restrictions allows for websites to feel as unique as each brand. It also partners with WordPress for premium blogging capabilites making it great for bloggers or really anyone looking to drive traffic to their site.

2. Shopify

E-Commerce Website Builder

Domain Registrar & Web Host

Before you even have your site built or started, I would recommend purchasing your domain name. This is your unique URL where people will find your site. It’s extremely important to your SEO so even if your business is just an idea, its a great to go ahead and get it purchased before the name is taken. Also – domain names are fairly cheap usually around $20/year.

4. Flodesk

Email Marketing Platform

Talk about something made with design in mind. Flodesk’s templates are absolutely beautiful and it’s capabilities to promote e-commerce and drive sales through email are amazing. From creating scheduled e-blast funnels to checking analytics, the platform is so user friendly. I could not recommend Flodesk enough.

5. Canva

Content Design Platform

Canva is a tool that does SO much for your business. This is where you can create social media posts (with animation even), presentation slides, and really any custom graphics that you need to communicate with your audience. When you complete your branding with me, I’ll upload all of your fonts, colors, and logo files to your Canva brand kit so everything you make stays true to your branding.

6. Honeybook

CRM Tool (client management, invoicing, payments)

Honeybook helps you track a project from beginning to end. I love to use the scheduler app so clients can book a time to chat with me without a long email chain back & forth figuring out schedules. You can build and sign contracts, send invoicing, and manage payments all on the platform.
