After graduating from Indiana University, I began my career in design in 2016 when I started at The Buntin Group, Nashville’s largest ad agency. There I worked with clients like Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, Chinet, and CITGO and eventually moved from designer to art director working on broadcast and social campaigns. After four years I decided it was time get back to what I loved most, and left corporate America to pursue my own business, creating brands and websites for other creatives, entrepreneurs, and dreamers.
I love hearing what makes different businesses and creators unique and helping to craft the visual elements to represent them. I draw inspiration from both the digital world and physical. I think inspiration can be found from the typography of an old book, color palette of a vintage photo, or the feeling of a well designed room when you first walk in.
When I’m not working on the computer, I like to find ways of being creative off screen. My latest obsessions are mastering the art of soldering in my stained-glass class and testing out the perfect dough recipe for my pizza oven.
If you’d like to chat about design/business/inspiration or just find out the best restaurants to try when visiting Nashville, I’d love to hear from you.
xoxo, Rachel
